The space bar
Hold space. Ask for anything.
Every other AI keyboard adds a button you have to find. Kamry puts it on the key your thumb is already resting on. Hold the space bar and the keys slide away for a panel that has read what you were writing.
Tap it for a space. Swipe it to move the cursor, exactly as iOS does. Hold it, and only then, for AI — so the gesture you already know keeps working.
Answer
Ask a question straight from the text field and get the answer without leaving the app.
Rewrite
Say the same thing better. Apply replaces what you wrote; Insert adds it below.
Fix
Spelling, grammar and punctuation, without touching your voice.
Reply
Turn a message you have been sent into a reply worth sending.
Shorten
Cut it down until it fits, keeping the part that mattered.

Skills
Put a skill on a key.
A skill is a small tool you bind to a long press. Hold that key and its icon appears where the letter preview would be, so you can see what you are about to run — then let go.
Nothing is bound until you turn it on, because a keyboard that quietly rebinds four keys the first time it launches is a keyboard that broke your accent popups without asking.
Type Gujarati as you speak it
Turn the Gujarati skill on and the keyboard becomes a live transliterator: type saaru chhe and get સારુ છે as you go. It runs entirely on your device — no network, no waiting.
Long press still does what it always did
Keys without a skill keep their accent popups, and skills avoid the letters that have them. Bind what you want; nothing else changes.
The part nobody advertises
It has to feel like a keyboard first.
Most AI keyboards are an AI product with typing bolted on, and you feel it on every keypress. Kamry was built the other way round: a dropped frame while typing is worse than a missing feature, every time.
Measured against Apple’s own
Key height, row pitch, gaps, insets and corner radius were sampled pixel by pixel from the system keyboard at 3×, including the step Apple makes on larger iPhones. It lands where your thumbs already expect it to.
Corrections without the internet
A 210,000-word dictionary is mapped straight into memory, never parsed. Suggestions take about a millisecond, on a background thread, and the letter is on screen before any of it starts.
It learns your phrasing, privately
The keyboard picks up word pairs you use often — but only pairs of ordinary English words it already knows, never names, numbers or passwords. It stays on your device, and you can read and delete every one of them.
Emoji you can actually find
Search emoji by meaning, using the same annotation data every platform uses. The letters stay on screen while you type the query.
Privacy
We have no server that sees what you type.
There is no account and no sign-up. Typing, corrections, learned words and on-device skills never leave your phone. Text is sent out in exactly one situation: when you deliberately ask for it — by opening the AI panel or running a skill marked “Uses AI” — and then only the text in the field at that moment.
No analytics. No advertising identifiers. No crash-reporting SDK. Nothing sold, nothing shared, no profile.
Full Access is needed for the AI features and for haptics, because iOS blocks the network and the Taptic Engine without it. It does not give us your typing — there is no code in the keyboard that transmits it, with or without.

Questions
Before you install it
No. Typing, corrections, suggestions and on-device skills all run locally and are never transmitted. Text is sent only when you open the AI panel or run a skill marked “Uses AI”, and only the text in the field at that moment. There is no background sending and no server of ours that receives your typing.
iOS blocks a keyboard extension from the network and from the Taptic Engine unless you grant it. Kamry uses it to make the AI request and to give you key haptics — nothing else. Without it the keyboard still types, corrects, suggests and runs on-device skills exactly the same.
Everything except the AI features. Corrections, predictions, learned words, emoji search and on-device skills — including Gujarati transliteration — all work with no connection at all.
Google Gemini or OpenRouter, whichever you pick in settings. If one is busy the request goes to the other automatically, so a provider having a bad day does not become your problem.
Tap Restore Purchases on the paywall. Purchases are tied to your Apple Account, not to anything we hold.
The keyboard is English, with live Gujarati transliteration available as a skill. More scripts are planned; the transliteration engine is table-driven, so adding one does not require a new app.
